Monday

Mixed Media - Stanley Wong

10am - 12:30pm
Members $155 per term, Non-members $165 per term

This is the perfect class for those students wishing to explore the magic of art in whatever medium they prefer to use. Watercolour, Pen and Wash, Pastel, Conte, Charcoal, Oil, Acrylic and even Chinese Brush. Students will also enjoy one session comprising of a portrait study and a session of outdoor sketching. Develop your own style and discover your preferred medium.

Acrylics - Craig Penny

1pm - 3:30pm
Members $155 per term, Non-members $165 per term

Explore this exciting medium under the guidance of a professional tutor. You will learn all about the medium, mixing, blending, complementary colours, and much, much more. learn to paint streetscapes, waterways, landscapes using vivid colour, visible brushstrokes and blending with surplus water and colour pigment. A delightful class. All welcome.

Pastels - Terrianne Murray

4:30pm - 7pm
Members $145 per term, Non-members $155 per term

Pastels is a word often used to describe muted tones. Pastels are anything but! In this class you will be introduced to Soft Patels, a rich vibrant medium that sparkles once it is applied to the surface.Terrianne runs a structured class in which you will learn all about pastels, application, blending, composition and much, much more. Personalised tuition will assist those who wish to develop their own work and style. Beginners welcome.

Tuesday

Oils - Angela Abbott

9:30am - 12noon
Members $155 per term, Non-members $165 per term

Beginners and more experienced students learn to see how shape, edge, tone and colour make a painting. Using the visual facts held in a still life, figure or landscape, the class is helped to reduce and establish these essential elements. Simplification is the key. Angela loves to paint from life, and keeps her subject range varied.

Watercolour - Maxine Wade

5pm - 7pm
Members $145 per term, Non-members $155 per term

This class accommodates students wishing to explore the magic that is watercolour. Maxine will tutor and assist you in developing your skills whilst discussing composition, technique, colour and tone. Great for beginners as well as advanced studens.

Life Drawing - Stanley Wong

7:30pm - 10pm
Members $165 per term, Non-members $175 per term

This class is designed for those who enjoy the simplicity of free-flowing line work, or those who have drawing experience but would like to develop their technique. Recommended as an accompaniment to watercolour or pastel class, every aspiring and established artist can benefit from sound drawing skills. Life models will be provided for all sessions. Beginners welcome.

Wednesday

Oils - Don James

9:30am - 12noon
Members $155 per term, Non-members $165 per term

For those wishing to explore tonal painting, covering still life, landscape and the human form. The structure and content of painting in oil is explored, and you will develop an individual visual awareness. Don James developed an abiding interest in Tonal Impressionism while studying the works of Max meldrum and others.

Thursday

Oils - Keming Shen

10am - 12:30pm
Members $155 per term, Non-members $165 per term

This is a great class for students of all levels. You will cover all aspects of oil painting under a professional teacher, and will develop visual awareness in observation. This class covers still life, landscape, portraits and the human form. Ke Ming studied art in Shanghai and majored in graphic design. He is proficient in all media and an accomplished painter of all subjects.

Friday

Mixed Media - June Woods

10am - 12:30pm
Members $155 per term, Non-members $165 per term

This class accommodates students wishing to learn artistic techniquesin whatever media they prefer, including watercolour, acrylics, pen and ink, pastels or mixed media. June will assist you in developing your own style and finding your own particular favourite medium. Great for beginners as well as advanced students, and for those wishing to try something new.

Oils - Carmel Mahony

1pm - 3:30pm
Members $155 per term, Non-members $165 per term

Learn oil painting from a professional teacher. Explore the structure and content of oil painting with a teacher who brings to her classes continuing enthusiasm in painting nature. To paint correctly and well is a never-ending endeavour, and this teacher is eager to guide her students along this path of study.

Saturday

Watercolour - Joan Richard

9:30am - 12noon
Members $16 per lesson, Non-members $19 per lesson

This is a great class for beginners and advanced students. Ably guided, you will develop skills along with individual style. This class covers observation and technique in landscape, still life and the human form. Joan's personalised tuition will assist those wanting to know more about the wonderful medium of watercolour.

Creative Drawing - Maxine Wade

2pm - 4pm
Members $145 per term, Non-members $155 per term

Come along and have some fun with this group. Learn about perspective, scale of objects, sketching buildings, proportions, composition, creative detail with tone, etc. Talk about solutions to drawing flaws and much more. Live models will be provided for some sessions. Suitable for beginners and experienced students.
